Delivery Managers serve as the Chief Scrum Master across all delivery teams within a product. They are responsible for the overall solution delivery and support of large-scale programs with complex integrations. Delivery Managers are responsible for managing the communication across program stakeholders, defining mitigation strategies to remediate risks & issues, and assisting teams to ensure that the value being delivered aligns to the product vision defined by product managers.

ROLE
  • Helps with the allocation of resources and provides teams with the necessary support to remediate impediments and reported issues.
  • Facilitates program increment (PI) or quarterly planning sessions across all delivery teams aligned to a value stream or portfolio, and the accompanying planning sessions (pre and post PI planning sessions).
  • Works with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to plan release schedules across products, initiatives, and features.
  • Supports portfolio teams with the delivery of new features and capabilities while empowering them and allowing them to be self-organized.
  • Facilitates the system demos to showcase integrated features and capabilities.
  • Leads program increment or quarterly retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities that can be implemented to improve productivity.
  • Monitors delivery team metrics to evaluate progress against delivery milestones (e.g., release burnups).
  • Aggregates individual delivery team status into portfolio-level risks, assumptions, and interdependencies.
  • Creates reports highlighting the health of the overall delivery status to portfolio and value stream leadership and various stakeholders.
  • Leads regular "Scrum-of-Scrum" meetings with Scrum Masters from all portfolio teams to drive alignment across development activities and review blockers or impediments impacting team productivity.
  • Coordinates the resolution of internal and external dependencies across value streams, portfolios, and shared services.
  • Drives tactical day-to-day delivery process, including removing impediments that negatively impact productivity or block the team's process.
  • Ensures effective communication, collaboration, coordination, and team engagement in initiatives that cut across portfolios and value streams.
  • Coordinates with Release Manager on pre-release, release, and post-release activities.
  • Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

REQUIRED
  • 3+ years of Agile Team Leadership (PO, PdM, PgM, TPM, DM, RTE, SM).
  • 3+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies.
  • Experience mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers in Agile practices.
  • Experience optimizing SDLC processes to improve the quantity and quality of work.

Recommended
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Ability to manage project delivery planning, estimating, budgeting and metrics reporting.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate technical delivery risks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Workspace applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Successful internal candidates will have spent one year or more on their current team.

Level 2 - $105,000 - $135,000
Level 3 - $125,000 - $155,000
