Location: Bellingham, WA
Program: 400-21350
Hours: 38 FTE Full-time (Dayshift Fri/Sat/Sun 0730-2000)
Wage: $48.71 to $82.59
Compass Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Bellingham! As a vital member of the multidisciplinary care team, you'll provide direct nursing services and oversight to ensure high-quality care for clients within our behavioral health programs.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Administer injectable psychiatric medications based on provider orders.
  • Conduct nursing assessments and provide ongoing physical and mental health monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and serve as a medical liaison.
  • Provide medication education and coordinate refills, pharmacy communication, and inventory.
  • Maintain nursing documentation and transcribe orders as needed.
  • Participate in emergency response and implement appropriate medical interventions.
  • Support clients and staff in promoting wellness and recovery.
What You'll Bring
  • Current Washington State RN license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time psychiatric nursing experience.
  • Ability to obtain MHP certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Preferred Attributes
  • In-depth knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and involuntary commitment laws.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
