Description
Hours: 36 hours per week; Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
As a Vendor Relations Specialist, you will:
  • Initiate bid/quote process for services, supplies and equipment; consult with requestor to develop specifications; perform bid/quote analysis and make recommendations regarding purchases.
  • Conduct necessary vendor background screening to ensure compliance with CRF policy requirements.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Business Services, work with vendors to ensure terms and conditions, agreements, licenses and insurance are in order, reviewed and approved.
  • Maintain all relevant records as current; includes but not limited to vendor licenses, insurance certificates, statements of work, quotes, and proposals.
  • Build and maintain complete and accurate contract files, agreements, quotes and tracking sheets.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with vendors to stay current with trends and technologies, products and services.
  • Design and execute verification and audit methods suitable for verifying all aspects of proper performance of both parties to vendor contractual relationships.

Our Central office is in the Mission Bay area. We provide management support services for all of the mental health programs of Community Research Foundation and PERT, Inc. Our Central Office consists of Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Information Technology, Real Estate and Facilities, Quality Improvement, and Research & Development.

Requirements
Education: High School diploma/GED required
Additional Qualifications and Skills
  • 5 years of experience in general administrative role and 1 year of experience working in Vendor Relations
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office
  • Basic understanding of databases or other tracking type software
  • Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
