Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager IV to lead multiple high-impact technology initiatives for Charter Communications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex technical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively with executive leadership. This role requires strong project management expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–10 years of Technical Project Management or Program Management experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple complex, high-visibility technical projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technology delivery processes.
- Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, MS Project, and similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, Word, and other project management tools.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and proactively resolve project risks and challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the telecommunications or related industry.
- Experience with Chalk or similar workforce planning/platform tools.
- Knowledge of portfolio reporting, KPIs, metrics, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple complex technical projects from initiation through implementation.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with business, engineering, product, and technology teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues while driving timely resolution.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Provide regular executive-level status updates and portfolio reporting.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to project governance standards.
- Drive continuous process improvements and ensure successful project outcomes.
