Job description

Without knowing it, millions of people wear apparel and accessories distributed by alphabroder. Consumers may not recognize the company's name, but clothiers and promotional agencies certainly do. Whether the item is a company golf shirt, a T-shirt from a rock concert or a souvenir shirt from a vacation destination, chances are it has passed through one of our many Distribution Centers across North America.

This position will focus on Quality Assurance for both incoming products and outgoing orders. Individual will be responsible for all Quality functions in the Harrisburg facility under the direction of the QA Managers in Bridgeport/Gaffney and Sr. Director of Compliance & QA.   This individual will also be responsible for leading the QA Inspectors in the Harrisburg facility up to and including Time Management, Employee Reviews and disciplinary actions. This person will also be responsible for assisting in other functions as requested by the Facility Manager.  The individual needs to be flexible to changing needs of our growing company. Cross training, computer skills and time management skills are essential.


  • Must be able to perform ALL the duties and responsibilities of a Quality Inspector.
  • Lead the Quality Assurance Team.
  • Keep attendance records, manage and organize schedule and rotating assignments.
  • Run, analyze and follow through daily and weekly reports.  Such as but not limited to Credits, Mega Order, Redo, Final Inspection, Actual Proofs, Scrap reports.
  • Be able to make critical decisions with regards to imprint quality on live orders.
  • Fill out Corrective Action Forms and address them accordingly with appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain databases for QA up to date; such as but not limited to Incoming Inspection Database, Final Inspection Data, Scrap Report up to date.
  • Work directly with all Production Supervisors to make sure all issues are addressed and/or rectified properly.  Work directly with Shipping Department to make sure work is flowing and orders are final inspected in a timely manner.
  • All other tasks assigned.
