Seasonal Guest Information Receptionist Job Description
Wage: $11.25-11.75/hour
Shift: Seasonal Part time. Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm & Saturday, 10am-4pm. Some holidays. Extended hours may be requested during peak seasons.

Summary: Come and join our amazing Guest Experiences Reception team at Thanksgiving Point! You will play an important role as the first point of contact for many of our guests who call or visit us to seek information about Thanksgiving Point and/or purchase tickets or memberships.
Responsibilities:
  • Answering multiple phone lines and helping callers with questions including information about Thanksgiving Point and current events.
  • Assist with venue admission reservations and events reservations.
  • Welcome, engage, help, and thank each of our guests as we work together to provide a world class guest experience.
  • Maintain and share your knowledge about Thanksgiving Point.
  • Assist guests over the phone, online chat, or in person with venue admissions and event reservations.
  • Provide world class guest experience at Thanksgiving Point Signature Events throughout the year.
  • Assist with special events/box office as needed.
  • Exemplify Thanksgiving Point's Mission, Values, and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and confident personality and voice.
  • Ability to adapt to various situations, interact with guests and team members, maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor, and handle stress with professionalism.
  • A self-starter who can be trusted to work alone at times.
  • Must complete "Guest Experience Training" and work to develop and demonstrate guest service skills and abilities.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of keyboard and computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheet, other office equipment, and can learn new skills and programs.
  • Previous Guest Service Experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass a background check.
