Job description

Hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to work in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in McLean, Virginia. Please review the job description below and APPLY if you're interested in this position!

NOTE: Orientation and training may be available a few days prior to the assignment start date. Possible extension for the right candidate.

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: McLean, Virginia
Duration: 10/26/2026 – 12/18/2026
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation: $55/hour (W2 only)

Holiday Closures:

  • Wednesday, November 11 – Veterans Day

  • Thursday, November 26 – Thanksgiving Day

  • Friday, November 27 – Day After Thanksgiving

Overview:
  • Provide outpatient physical therapy services with a primary focus on orthopedic and work-related injuries.

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.

  • Treat primarily non-post-operative orthopedic conditions, ergonomics-related injuries, and occupational musculoskeletal disorders.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Participate in injury prevention initiatives, employee wellness programs, and ergonomic education as needed.

  • Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records (preferred).

  • Opportunity for assignment extension based on clinic needs and performance.

Essential Requirements:
  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Virginia.

  • Outpatient physical therapy experience is required.

  • Experience treating orthopedic and work-related injuries is strongly preferred.

  • EPIC experience is preferred.

  • Strong clinical assessment, manual therapy, and patient education skills.

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities with a patient-centered approach.
