Job Summary: As a Produce Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to fresh and high-quality fruits and vegetables. Your responsibilities will include stocking produce items, maintaining the cleanliness of the produce department, and assisting customers with their produce selections. Join us in providing a positive shopping experience and promoting healthy eating habits for our customers.
Examples of Duties:
  • Stock and replenish produce displays, ensuring items are attractively presented and rotated to maintain freshness.

  • Assist customers with their produce selections, providing information on product availability, pricing, and storage tips.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the produce department, including cleaning shelves, displays, and work areas.

  • Receive and inspect incoming produce shipments, checking for quality and freshness.

  • Remove damaged or expired products from displays and properly dispose of them.

  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and participating in periodic inventory counts.
