Our client is seeking an experienced Produce Manager to join one of the highest-volume and most dynamic produce operations in the region. This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about fresh produce, enjoys working alongside their team, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience managing a produce department, although candidates with deeper industry experience and a proven track record of driving results will stand out. This role requires a strong operator who can balance merchandising, inventory management, customer service, and team support while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and freshness.


Responsibilities

  • Manage ordering, inventory, shrink, and product rotation.
  • Maintain exceptional standards for quality, freshness, and merchandising.
  • Work alongside the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Support, coach, and develop department team members.
  • Drive department sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Build displays and maintain a clean, organized department.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years minimum of experience managing a produce department in a high-volume grocery environment.
