Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments with clients to identify stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals, effectively tailoring mindfulness practices to their specific needs.
  • Administer mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to facilitate relaxation, personal reflection, and emotional balance.
  • Lead group workshops and classes that focus on mindfulness exercises, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies to equip clients with essential coping skills.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions that incorporate mindfulness strategies to address specific mental health concerns while promoting long-term emotional resilience.
  • Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to integrate mindfulness into an overall treatment plan, enhancing client outcomes and ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of each clientโ€™s progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
  • Strong proficiency in therapeutic communication and the ability to create a supportive and calming clinical environment for clients.
  • Comfort and experience in delivering mindfulness-based practices, with a preference for candidates who have undertaken further training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
