A Night Shift Prior Authorization specialist is a healthcare professional responsible for processing and reviewing prior authorization requests for medical procedures, medications, or treatments during overnight hours. These specialists verify insurance coverage, ensure that required documentation is provided, and communicate with healthcare providers to facilitate approvals.
