About the role
The Communications Manager will support the Communications and Creative Director in establishing, overseeing, and executing Christ Covenant's communications strategy. This position will be responsible for collaborating with ministry leaders, communication project planning, reviewing communication deliverables before distribution, and analyzing effectiveness of communications. This person needs to be fast moving, high capacity and have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
What you'll do
Communication Strategy
  • Develop, establish, and enforce print and digital best practices for internal and external church communications.
  • Develop a communications strategy for large initiatives and events, strategizing when and how to promote or educate our audience.
  • Strategizes for church growth and helps director plan for multi-site expansion communication by assessing and refining established processes

Ministry Collaboration
  • Guide ministries through thoughtful discussion and planning for communication initiatives.
  • Create and execute established communication project plans.

Communication Deliverable
  • Own and manage the communications calendar for communication projects and deliverables.
  • Oversee the gathering and analyzation of performance data and strategize optimization practices.
  • Oversees our print and digital strategy and execution against communications best practices, performance, and the direction and vision of the church leadership and the director.

Communications and Creative Director Support
  • Support the Director in high-level communications strategization
  • Reviews the communications team's work, offers constructive feedback, and approves output before distribution

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's (B.A.) in related field degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years experience
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in best practices for email, website, and other digital mediums
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in print media
  • Understands how to broadly market to the greater Atlanta community
