Job description

Join the team behind the precision livestock network, helping over 6,500 farmers and ranchers manage over 2 million cattle worldwide. You'll need sharp marketing instincts, a real feel for how farmers think and what they actually read, and the appetite to build something from nothing rather than inherit a machine already running. Based in our Austin, Texas office.

Breedr launched its Precision Livestock Management app in 2019 and is on the mission to empower farmers, processors and food retailers with tools to produce transparency, traceability, environmentally and commercially sustainable meat, safeguarding the future of their business and plant. It now supports over 2.8 million cattle from 6,500 farms across the UK, EU, US, Australia and New Zealand. We are constantly developing a suite of tools which will help farmers, ranchers and supply chains make better informed decisions improving animal management and animal health to deliver a production base fit for the future.

What You'll Be Doing

As our US Marketing Manager, you will be the engine room of Breedrโ€™s US marketing and the person who makes things happen day to day. Reporting to the Head of Growth and Marketing, you will own our website, our marketing data and systems, and the delivery of our campaigns and events.

You will be senior and organised enough to keep the US team moving when the Head of Growth and Marketing is travelling or working UK hours. This role is based in our Austin office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver marketing projects and campaigns, coordinating the team, agencies and freelancers.
  • Help develop the messaging and customer stories that resonate with ranchers, working with the content and product teams.
  • Own the website, keep content current and accurate, and manage the third parties who build and update it.
  • Own our marketing analytics, connect the trail from advert to sign-up to subscription, keep the data clean, and report on what is working.
  • Manage the events calendar and logistics end to end, and track what each event costs and returns.
  • Work closely with the sales and account-management teams so they have what they need to succeed.
  • Act as the local point of coordination for the US marketing team.
About You
  • Three or more years in a marketing role, with a track record of getting things delivered.
  • Genuinely comfortable with HubSpot (or a similar CRM), marketing analytics and reporting
  • A strong project manager who can run several things at once and keep events and campaigns on track.
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and able to prioritise.
  • A great communicator who works well with sales, product and outside agencies.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and use data to make decisions.
  • Experience or interest in ranching, cattle or agriculture.
Desirable but not essential
  • Graphic design skill (Canva, Adobe InDesign or Photoshop) โ€” a real plus.
What youโ€™ll get
  • Health, vision, dental and life insurance - 80% company paid
  • 4 weeks PTO plus most US federal holidays off
