Position Summary:
As Senior Vice President of Domestic Sales reporting to the CEO, you will provide executive leadership across United Animal Health (UAH) domestic sales, overseeing strategic market development, customer engagement, revenue generation, and commercial execution across multiple business units and portfolios.

This role will provide leadership for domestic sales across the United Animal Health (UAH) portfolios, with a significant emphasis on the U.S. swine industry and strategic growth within key pork production accounts. The Senior Vice President will lead sales strategy, account development, and commercial execution across multiple business segments while strengthening UAH's position as a trusted partner within the swine production industry.

The ideal candidate brings deep leadership experience within animal health, nutrition, or production agriculture, along with an established network of senior decision-makers across major U.S. swine producers, integrators, and industry organizations. This leader will serve as both a strategic executive and a visible industry presence, shaping customer relationships, expanding market influence, and driving long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Leadership

  • Provide strategic sales leadership and operational oversight for United Animal Health business units within domestic markets
  • Develop and execute comprehensive domestic sales strategies spanning traditional and emerging markets
  • Lead enterprise-wide revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance optimization
  • Establish consistent sales processes, metrics, and best practices across domestic sales organizations
  • Align commercial strategy with evolving customer, producer, and industry needs across the livestock sector

Strategic Market Development & Domestic Expansion

  • Lead domestic market expansion initiatives across key business segments and customer channels
  • Drive strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and commercial relationships that expand market presence and capabilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new technologies, products, and applications across domestic markets
  • Represent the organization as a visible leader within key livestock and swine industry events, organizations, and conferences
  • Identify emerging market trends, customer opportunities, and strategic areas for long-term commercial growth

Sales Enablement & Organizational Excellence

  • Design sales enablement initiatives, training programs, and leadership development efforts across domestic sales teams
  • Lead implementation and optimization of CRM systems, sales tools, and business intelligence platforms
  • Establish performance expectations, coaching strategies, and accountability measures that support sales effectiveness
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement across commercial teams

Revenue Generation & Strategic Growth

  • Lead enterprise sales forecasting and strategic account development efforts
  • Lead major contract negotiations and strategic pricing initiatives with enterprise-level domestic customers
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with major U.S. swine production systems, integrators, and strategic accounts
  • Lead commercial strategy and growth initiatives within the pork production sector, with accountability for revenue expansion across key swine customers
  • Partner closely with technical, innovation, and operational teams to align commercial strategy with customer needs and emerging industry trends
  • Identify and develop strategic accounts, partnerships, and revenue opportunities across traditional and emerging domestic markets

Executive Leadership & Strategic Influence

  • Serve as a key executive team member contributing to enterprise strategy and major business decisions
  • Represent UAH at customer engagements, industry conferences, and other strategic events
  • Support evaluation of strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and growth opportunities
  • Drive innovation initiatives within sales and customer engagement functions
  • Provide market insight and customer perspective to support future product and business development initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Business, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive sales leadership experience within animal health, animal nutrition, livestock production, or related agricultural industries
  • Proven executive leadership experience leading multi-state or national sales organizations
  • Demonstrated success developing strategic customer relationships and driving revenue growth within the U.S. livestock industry
  • Significant experience working directly with large swine production systems and enterprise-level producer accounts
  • Strong understanding of the pork production industry, including production economics, customer dynamics, and industry trends

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

  • Deep knowledge of the U.S. swine industry and established relationships with leading pork producers, integrators, and industry influencers
  • Existing network and credibility with key U.S. swine accounts strongly preferred
  • Active participation in key industry organizations, conferences, and customer networks preferred
  • Strong strategic leadership, organizational development, and team management capabilities
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and build alignment across commercial, operational, and technical teams
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive relationship management skills
  • Experience leading complex sales strategy, forecasting, and key account management processes
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including pricing strategy and P&L awareness
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on customer engagement

Typical Work Environment

  • Executive office environment with domestic travel requirements (up to 50%)
  • Hybrid leadership model supporting regional teams

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience within the swine nutrition, animal health, feed, genetics, or production sectors
  • Experience managing strategic relationships with Top 25 U.S. pork producers
  • Demonstrated visibility and influence within pork industry associations and trade organizations
  • Experience integrating multiple product portfolios or business units into unified commercial strategies
  • Background supporting commercialization of innovative technologies or science-based solutions within production agriculture
