Rea Landscape Management - Charleston, SC
Full-Time
Rea Landscape Management is seeking a responsible and skilled LandscapeMaintenance Crew Driver to safely transport landscape maintenance crews and assist in maintaining residential and commercial properties. This position involves operating utility vehicles and performing a variety of landscaping tasks to ensure properties remain clean, healthy, and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport maintenance crews to and from job sites
  • Perform landscape tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, sod installation, fertilizing, planting, and debris removal
  • Operate and maintain landscape equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and report any issues
  • Follow safety protocols, especially when transporting equipment or materials
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while on site

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical outdoor labor
  • Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance and lawn care techniques
  • Ability to operate various landscaping tools and machinery
  • Strong preference for candidates who speak and understand Spanish
  • Experience with safe equipment transport and cargo securing practices

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
  • Lawn care techniques: mowing, fertilization, seeding, weed and disease control
  • Tree, shrub, and plant identification and care
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of public safety and transportation protocols

  • Zero-turn, walk-behind, and push mowers
  • Edgers, weed-eaters, hedge trimmers, and backpack blowers
