Job Summary:
Terra Landscape is seeking temporary crew members for a 6–7 week weed abatement project based in Livermore. This role involves working outdoors as part of a 4–5 person crew to clear dry grass and brush on hillsides for wildfire prevention. The work is physically demanding and performed in hot, dusty conditions. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy outdoor labor and can commit to the full project duration.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate weed whackers and basic landscaping equipment
  • Clear dry grass, brush, and debris on sloped and uneven terrain
  • Maintain a consistent and productive work pace in hot weather
  • Follow direction from the crew leader and adhere to all safety protocols
  • Arrive on time daily and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating landscaping equipment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Previous experience in weed abatement, brush clearance, or fire mitigation

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor setting with exposure to sun, dust, and heat
  • Work includes walking on hillsides, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive motion
  • Safety equipment will be provided

This is a temporary, seasonal position and does not include benefits. Candidates must be available for the full 6–7 week project duration.

  • Dependable and punctual (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM required)
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely within a crew
  • Prior landscaping or outdoor labor experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
