Job Summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a full-time Pediatric Geneticist to join our well-established, thriving, and comprehensive Genetics Practice in Philadelphia, PA. Our hospital supports a Level IV NICU, PICU, trauma services, and a full range of inpatient and outpatient pediatric care.

Our Services

Our Genetics team provides evaluations and consultations for:

  • Birth Defects

  • Chronic Diseases

  • Developmental Delays

  • Family History of Genetic Disorders

  • Intellectual Disabilities

  • Suspected Genetic Abnormalities

We also offer consultations for adult-onset genetic diseases.

Position Highlights

  • Join a collaborative team, including a physician, RN, genetic counselor, and dedicated office staff.

  • Provide genetics consultations and screenings for pediatric cancer, intellectual disabilities, genetic syndromes, and more.

  • Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend shifts.

  • Opportunities for research studies and clinical trials.

  • Develop and lead educational programs for residents and medical students.

  • Engage with a diverse patient population.

  • Provide inpatient consults.

  • Practice located on the hospital campus.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • MD, DO or Foreign equivalent
  • BE/BC in Clinical Genetics & Genomics (ABMGG) with ability to obtain PA license.
  • Unrestricted PA medical license at time of employment
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for Commonwealth of PA
