Job description

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic medical geneticist to join our team at AdventHealth Medical Genetics & Genomics program in Orlando, Florida. The physician would join our two other physicians and genetic counselors and continue to grow our dynamic program. The new physician would collaborate within our multidisciplinary teams of experienced clinicians in pediatric and adult cardiology, pediatric and adult gastroenterology, pediatric and adult hematology/oncology, MFM, pediatric and adult neurology and transplantation surgery. We aspire to provide comprehensive state of the art genetic and genomic services to all patients within the AdventHealth system (locally, regionally and nationally).

The new physician would have the ability to work in both an outpatient and inpatient setting along with fulfilling personal research and teaching interests.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Clinical Genetics through the American Board of Medical Genetics & Genomics
  • Board eligibility will be considered, but will need board certification within two years of employment
  • Prior experience is a plus but not required
  • Comfort level working with APP s and Genetics Counselors
  • Comfort level with working with pediatric, adult and geriatric populations
