Job description

UPT is seeking a dedicated Fuel Handler. This role requires a Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and involves driving, fuel handling, and ensuring safety compliance. Drivers enjoy competitive pay, paid training, and comprehensive benefits while being home daily.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and transport fuel safely following all regulations
  • Operate tanker trucks and related equipment efficiently
  • Secure loads properly to prevent spills and hazards
  • Navigate assigned routes ensuring timely deliveries
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain documentation related to fuel handling and deliveries
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and safety teams
  • Conduct routine maintenance and report issues promptly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • Possession of Class A CDL and Tanker Endorsement
  • Knowledge of commercial driving safety procedures
  • Skilled in vehicle inspection and route planning
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Problem-solving ability in challenging situations
