PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting enterprise integrations, data migration, and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with application teams and business stakeholders to define data requirements across operational, financial, regulatory, and customer domains.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Implement data quality checks, reconciliation processes, and monitoring controls to support auditability and compliance.
  • Support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives by curating trusted datasets for downstream consumption.
  • Document data mappings, flows, and technical designs to ensure long-term maintainability.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to align data solutions with enterprise standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of professional IT experience including data engineering, data integration, or analytics roles
  • Proven experience in data design and architecture, for relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational data platforms.
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems such as ERP, CIS/Billing, CRM, or asset management platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-based enterprise platforms and hybrid architectures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or platform transitions.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data and integration platforms.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as utilities, energy, or financial services.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
