We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Generalist to coordinate domestic transportation and international container movements, ensuring the timely and efficient flow of products throughout the supply chain. This role serves as the primary point of contact for domestic truckload scheduling and inbound drayage operations, utilizing Salesforce and other transportation systems to maintain shipment visibility, accuracy, and on-time execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities while collaborating with internal teams and transportation partners.
Pay Rate: $16-$20/hour based on experience.
Shifts: 1st, 7:00 am-3:30 pm

Job Responsibilities
  • Schedule inbound and outbound domestic truckload shipments for the Miami distribution facility.
  • Create and manage transportation appointments and shipment records in Salesforce.
  • Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and drayage providers.
  • Schedule and track international import containers from ports and rail facilities to company warehouses.
  • Monitor container availability, free time, demurrage, detention, and return deadlines.
  • Resolve transportation issues, communicate shipment updates, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with freight invoice verification and transportation reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency and reduce costs.

  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, freight brokerage, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination preferred.
  • Experience scheduling domestic truckload shipments preferred.
  • Experience with drayage and international container logistics is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce, TMS, or similar logistics software preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
