This position is located at our outpatient office in Knoxville, offering a collaborative and supportive environment. As a full-time Acupuncturist, you will operate from a comfortable onsite facility where you can work closely with other healthcare professionals. We encourage an interactive atmosphere for patient care, education, and community outreach, enhancing both staff and patient experience.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on traditional Chinese medicine principles.
• Administer high-quality acupuncture treatments, employing a variety of techniques including cupping, electro-acupuncture, and trigger point therapy as appropriate.
• Provide clear explanations of treatment procedures to patients, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the process.
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams within our clinic to enhance patient outcomes through coordinated care.
• Engage in ongoing education and training, mentoring new staff members, and contributing to community outreach programs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in palpation techniques and anatomy knowledge to accurately identify treatment locations for needle insertion.
• Maintain accurate patient records and effectively communicate updates regarding patient progress and treatment plans.

You will serve a diverse clientele ranging from individuals seeking relief from chronic pain to those looking to improve their overall health and well-being through alternative therapies. Our patients value an integrative approach to healthcare, and your role will be crucial in helping them achieve their wellness goals in a respectful and understanding environment.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in acupuncture practice.
• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Acupuncture or a related field.
• Clinical expertise in differential diagnosis and patient assessment.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and collaboration with healthcare colleagues.
• Ability to perform examinations, formulate treatment plans, and provide personalized care to each patient.
• Understanding of medical billing and insurance processes to facilitate smooth patient interactions.
• Willingness to engage in continuous education and community service initiatives.

• Advanced certifications in specialized techniques such as sports medicine acupuncture or trigger point acupuncture are highly desired.
• Experience working in a collaborative healthcare environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
