As an LMFT, you will play a vital role in providing clinical care to diverse patient populations through our community health clinic, dedicated to transformative mental health services.

About the Organization

Savas Health, derived from the term Seva, which means selfless service, embodies our commitment to compassionate patient care. Our team includes skilled medical professionals—psychologists, acupuncture specialists, chiropractors, dietitians, and massage therapists—who collaborate under a groundbreaking transdisciplinary model. This model targets the quadruple aim of healthcare: enhancing patient experience, improving health outcomes, cost reduction, and increasing employee satisfaction. At Savas Health, each member is valued, and we recognize the importance of diverse perspectives in creating holistic treatment plans.

Work Environment

This role is remote, allowing for flexibility and better work-life balance while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care. Our dynamic team's communication is facilitated through various digital platforms, ensuring collaboration across time zones and locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs, abilities, and behaviors through interviews and direct observation.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans by integrating psychosocial, medical, and psychotherapeutic data to inform therapeutic interventions.
  • Establish personalized short-term and long-term treatment objectives aligned with each patient’s unique challenges, including managing mental health conditions and interpersonal issues.
  • Encourage open dialogue with patients, providing a safe space to explore their emotions and behavior patterns during therapy sessions.
  • Develop and monitor treatment programs, offering psychotherapeutic support to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and coping mechanisms for chronic pain.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide professional consultation to interdisciplinary teams, contributing psychological insights to enhance overall patient care.
  • Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practice standards in mental health care.
  • Actively promote Savas Health's vision and values within and outside of the organization.
  • Participate in team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development activities to continuously improve your practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients represent a varied demographic, particularly within the Fresno community, and face challenges including mental health disorders, relationship issues, emotional distress, and behavioral concerns. Your expertise as an LMFT is crucial in addressing their needs, providing culturally competent care that respects and responds to their backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications
  • Current California LMFT license is a must.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in mental health therapy.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred, enhancing our ability to serve a broader client base.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a community health setting and familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Previous roles focusing on diverse populations and complex psychological profiles.
Compensation and Benefits
  • An annual salary of $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
  • Flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts to support your health needs.
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays, sick leave, and professional development days.
  • Employee assistance program for mental and emotional well-being.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities, encouraging growth and learning within the field.
