Job description

Acupuncturist Position Available in Redwood City!

For over 24 years, our team of proficient, happy healers has been passionate about providing consistent, high-quality care to our community. Our ideal new practitioner shares that vision and is excited to join a collaborative practice where clinical skill, curiosity, and compassionate patient care are valued.

You

You are a reliable, organized, and professional acupuncturist with excellent communication skills and a warm personality. You have a gentle needling style and enjoy treating a wide range of conditions in a general practice.

We are especially interested in someone who has Kiiko Style acupuncture training or experience, or who is genuinely interested in learning and developing their skills in the Kiiko approach. We value practitioners who enjoy thoughtful palpatory diagnosis, root-cause-oriented treatment, and seeing how subtle changes in the body can guide treatment.

  • Licensed acupuncturist with 2+ years of clinical experience (outside of school)
  • Kiiko Style training or experience strongly preferred; enthusiasm for learning Kiiko is also welcome
  • ABORM certified, or interested in pursuing ABORM certification, a bonus
  • Gentle, confident needling technique
  • Comfortable treating a broad range of internal medicine concerns
  • Self-motivated and interested in working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Proficient with blogs and social media, or interested in helping with practice education/marketing
  • Reliable, professional, and positive
  • Malpractice insurance required

Us

We are a long-established, busy community acupuncture practice with a supportive team environment and a strong emphasis on clinical care.

  • Open 6 days a week, 8am–7pm, offering a flexible schedule
  • Part-time position, approximately 10–20 hours per week, with potential for additional hours
  • Various shifts available, allowing for a comfortable and sustainable treatment pace
  • Compensation is on a per-patient basis and based on experience and training
  • All acupuncture supplies, herbal pharmacy, office supplies, and other business necessities provided
  • Opportunity to work with a wide variety of internal medicine concerns, including reproductive and fertility medicine
  • Opportunity for ongoing professional development and clinical growth
  • One-year commitment with the option to continue

A Special Opportunity for the Right Practitioner

If you already practice Kiiko Style acupuncture, we would love to hear about your training and experience.

If you don't have Kiiko training yet but have been wanting to learn, we are also very interested in meeting you. We are looking for someone who is curious, clinically engaged, and excited to develop their diagnostic and treatment skills rather than simply looking for a place to see patients.

Ready to Apply?

Please send the following electronically:

  • Cover letter
  • Resume/CV
  • Length of commitment you can make
  • Brief description of your acupuncture training and clinical experience
  • If applicable, please include any Kiiko Style training or experience

Thank you for considering joining our team! We look forward to meeting you.

Please communicate electronically; do not contact the office directly.
