Job Title: Military Spouse Employer Partners Potential Partner Recruiter (Transitional to Military Spouse Employer Partners Specialist)

Summary Military Spouse Employer Partners

Zeiders is proud to support the DOW Spouse Education Career Opportunities contract. The Military Spouse Employer Partners department is fast paced, team oriented, and passionate group committed to supporting military spouses and their families with the strategic focus to reduce unemployment and underemployment for Military Spouses.  This person will work as a full-time employee of Zeiders Enterprises, Inc.

We are seeking an Military Spouse Employer Partners Potential Partner Recruiter who will later transition into an Military Spouse Employer Partners Specialist role.

The successful candidate will initially focus on cultivating additional relationships with companies to successfully convert potential partner organizations into membership within the Military Spouse Employer Partners. This person must be a team player and be able to work independently.

Longer term, the professional will transition to the Military Spouse Employer Partners Specialist role to focus on expanding relationships with Military Spouse Employer Partners Partner employers and other organizations.  This individual will perform strategic partner, installation, and program outreach support activities that expand key Military Spouse Employer Partners stakeholder relationships, provide sustained program engagement and support overall operations of the Military Spouse Employer Partners program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Military Spouse Employer Partners Potential Partner Recruiter (initial duties):

  • Manage within the assigned portfolio for the full lifecycle of the Military Spouse Employer Partners recruiting process and collaborate with Military Spouse Employer Partners leadership and team members to ensure robust recruitment activity is in place to drive new employer organizations into partnership. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Strategic Sourcing – Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified organizations for membership within Military Spouse Employer Partners. Utilize internal, Internet online industry, trade and other business institution resources to identify and recruit candidates for application; develop and maintain contacts with businesses, schools, alumni groups, and other targeted industries to find and attract military-friendly organizations.
  • Program Ambassador – Coordinate and participate in events and make public presentations to schools, industry groups and large-scale job fairs to promote the SpouseWorks and Military Spouse Employer Partners mission. (AUSA, AFA, virtual events, Veteran based Initiatives, Diversity events)
  • Applicant Management –Screen and refer organizations for additional Military Spouse Employer Partners vetting and interviews with the U.S. Department of Defense; Provide program communications and work with Potential Partner vetting team to facilitate Military Spouse Employer Partners application and vetting process.
  • Convey our Value Proposition – evaluate program needs and proactively identify new methods to seek out organizations well positioned to recruit, hire and retain military spouses.
  • Support Business Objectives – Responsible for activity reporting as it relates to our potential partner recruitment services and key performance indicators. They include, but are not limited to, weekly sourced leads, outreach activity, conversion to application, application approvals.
  • Be a secondary spokesperson as needed for the program to potential partners. When requested, answer incoming calls to the dedicated Potential Partner 800 telephone service. Communicate clearly, accurately, and in detail all aspects of the program structure, benefits, as well as stakeholder commitment to Military Spouse Employer Partners.
  • Data Management and Computer Savviness: Document and update records in multiple systems with all pertinent application and metrics data and reporting as required.

Military Spouse Employer Partners Specialist (duties following transition):

Client Relationship Management: 

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned Military Spouse Employer Partners accounts.
  • Proactively create and execute a strategic marketing plan of action for partners based on client requirements and performance objectives.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.

Convey our Value Proposition

  • Train and educate new corporate partner representatives on the Military Spouse Employer Partners program.
  • Manage and execute new stakeholder onboarding in coordination management to include project plan development, quality control, client meetings, coordination with the learning and development team.
  • Builds and maintains relationships and regular communication with installations POC’s.

Outreach/Program Ambassador

  • Provide support and actively participate in outreach events such as career fairs or information sessions both in person and in a virtual environment.
  • Liaison for employment connections for spouses with installations and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaborations between installations and Military Spouse Employer Partners partners and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating communication materials in preparation and at events and coordination of logistics for webinars and ad hoc partner meetings. 

Support Business Objectives

  • Proactively conduct research and maintain a thorough understanding of stakeholder business lines, industry trends, and current events, and use this knowledge to develop strong collaborative stakeholder relationships.
  • Coordinate with the Annual Meeting/New Partner Induction lead to provide content recommendations, necessary partner data, and onsite support.
  • Ensure operational performance, deadlines, quality control, and other performance standards are met.

Data Management and Computer Savviness: 

  • Document stakeholder information through internal extranet and client provided account management system.
  • Maintain integrity of program databases/metrics and implement quality assurance processes in coordination with quality team to ensure all materials are client ready.

Required Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in education, human/social services or related field OR four years’ experience providing social services, behavioral health or adult training.
  • Three (3) years' experience in and delivery, public speaking, group presentation facilitation skills, preferable in an adult education or professional setting.
  • Two (2) years’ corporate business development, partner or membership acquisition, membership sales, or service marketing experience. 
  • Two (2) years' experience supervising or overseeing the delivery of social services and/or education programs, systems and services.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience; specifically with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong technology skills, as well as ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to oversee and balance multiple priorities and projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the mobile military culture and lifestyle.
  • Position requires travel to Career Fairs, Networking events and/or industry trade shows as assigned. Travel could be 10 – 25% of position depending upon event supported, region supported and/or industry assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting within a membership or subscription-based program
  • Military community affiliation or military spouse

  • You will need to complete and clear the full government background check process based on your role.
  • This position requires access to U.S. Government facilities and systems and requires U.S. Citizenship, a valid driver's license, transportation, and auto insurance.
