Expand your career, cultivate environmental stewardship, and explore your personal interests. Located in Central California in the Sierra Mountains, 4 hours east of San Francisco. The idea of National Parks began here when Abraham Lincoln signed the Yosemite Land Grant on June 30, 1864, during the Civil War. This was the first time the government signed the protection of public lands into public policy based on natural beauty and preservation for future generations.

The Executive Steward is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of dishes, serve ware, equipment, etc. In addition, the individual may perform other serviceable duties as assigned. The Lead Steward may be responsible for the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the stewarding operation. Essential functions and responsibilitiesof the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirementsand business needs.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Schedules and assigns daily work assignments and oversees the completion of tasks

Maintains accurate and timely safety and equipment logs

Trains and guides staff on job duties and procedures

Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized

Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned

Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management

Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks

Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation

Ensures security of company assets

Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Effectively leads teams

Punctual

Able to work long hours, weekends and holidays as needed to meet event driven business needs

Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred

Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures

Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals

Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Requires constant standing/walking

Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to obtain ServSafe Manager Certification

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
