What you’ll find here
Yosemite Lakes Park is a non-gated community in the Central California Sierra Mountain foothills located between Yosemite National Park and Fresno near the unincorporated town of Coarsegold. YLP covers about 10 square miles at elevations from 900 to 2,200 feet, naturally landscaped by oak tree, pine tree, and boulder landscapes, pristine views of snowcapped mountains and the broader views of the Central Valley. All homes are custom-built on 1 acre and larger home sites. There are 2,263 parcels with about 1,870 homes.

YLP is administered by an elected board of the Yosemite Lakes Owners Association (YLOA). Declaration of Restrictions (DOR) are not stringent as YLP caters to people who enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle and the community retains its character by individual pride in ownership.

Amenities include a 9-hole golf course with pro shop and coffee shop, riding/boarding stable, clubhouse with restaurant, lounge and library, swimming pool and tennis courts, a ball field, picnic areas, basketball court, volleyball court, tether ball, private security, storage facility, hiking/riding trails and fishing lakes.


Role Summary

The Onsite Server is friendly and service-driven with a strong commitment to creating welcoming and enjoyable dining experiences. Known for maintaining a positive attitude, working collaboratively with team members, and communicating effectively in fast-paced hospitality environments. Dedicated to delivering attentive service while ensuring quality, accuracy, and professionalism throughout each guest interaction. Focused on upholding high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Be a dependable communicator and team player with a great attitude
  • Maintain a customer service focus on giving the patrons the best possible dining experience
  • Greet all residents and guests with an immediate smile, eye contact and a verbal welcome. If applicable, escort the party to a table. Place settings are adjusted to the number of members and guests at each table
  • Distribute menus, answer questions about food, beverage, and the menu, and or make suggestions about food, beverage and wine
  • Ensure accurate account of the customer’s orders, placing the appropriate dishes in front of each customer, entering the correct information in the computer system with any modifications the customer has requested
  • Set tables, spreading clean linen if applicable, placing glasses, condiment holders, flowers, and silverware, etc.
  • Monitor and assess the prepared food and beverage products, as per recipe standards, to ensure consistent quality, portion control and presentation
  • Remove soiled dishes, procure, and serve dessert
  • Provides check to residents and or guests when they have finished their meal, receive and process payments
  • Participate in the set up and breakdown of events due to F&B activities
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as outlined in the F&B Manual
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all F&B front of the house areas
  • Acknowledge residents and guests, politely thank the members and guests upon departure
  • Monitor and ensure that tables are reset within 5 minutes
  • Conducts a physical inspection of the room and floor to ensure proper presentation

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
  • Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).
  • Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.
