Job description

Mission Yogurt, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Warehouse Porter to join our team at KFC/Pizza Hut located inside the Denver Airport! 

As a Restaurant Warehouse Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products within the warehouse and stores. Your efforts will directly impact inventory accuracy, order fulfillment speed, vendor relationships, and overall warehouse operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols, receiving freight shipments, and collaborating with team members to meet daily operational goals. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Ultimately, your work will support the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to restaurant locations or customers, contributing to the company’s success.

Warehouse Porter Job Responsibilities: 

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments to ensure correct quantities and product quality
  • Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for the stores according to company standards and customer requirements
  • Maintain organized storage of inventory, ensuring products are stored safely and in designated locations
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, ladders, and hand trucks safely and efficiently
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to create a safe working environment for all team members
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and quality targets
  • Deliver products to the locations
  • Receive and follow instructions from the Manager

What We Are Looking For: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Upholds ideals, values, and practices that are the foundation of Mission Yogurt: Loyalty, Innovation, Service, Communication, and Flexibility
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Basic math and inventory computer skills, and the ability to read and interpret shipping documents
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be at least 18 years of age & able to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Availability and willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous experience as a warehouse clerk, stocker, crew member, picker, delivery driver, team member, or logistics associate preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion
