Description
South Mountain Creamery is a dairy farm family: we bottle our own milk and make our own butter, and ice cream. We brought the milkman back in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 25 years and counting! Over the years, we have grown to be the largest and most efficient home delivery business in the area. We see the "excellence in the ordinary," and everything we do is done with integrity and intention.

We are currently hiring for a Wholesale Delivery Driver.
Our Delivery Drivers are self-motivated, careful route drivers, enjoy working independently, and are open to doing a wide range of tasks.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Driving established wholesale delivery routes - which may include Virginia Beach and DC.
  • Making accurate deliveries
  • Complete other delivery tasks as needed
  • Assist other departments as needed

This position will be cross-trained to perform other warehouse functions and will act as an all-star team player while helping out in other areas as needed.
The shift for this position is Monday - Friday, with a start time of approximately 5:00 am.

Requirements
No sales are involved in this role; however, the ideal candidate will have delivery experience, maintain flexibility in their day-to-day, and be passionate about making sure deliveries are perfect - every time.
  • A valid driver's license with no major points or accidents is required.
  • A current, certified MVR will be needed.
  • DOT Medical Card is a plus, however with the right candidate, we will assist in this process.
  • CDL B is not needed but preferred.
