MEP QA/QC - Data Center Construction
Location: Canton, MS
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced MEP QA/QC to support our mission-critical data center projects. This role is central to delivering the level of quality, reliability, and performance our clients expect. You'll work closely with project teams, trade partners, and owners to ensure every MEP system is installed correctly, tested thoroughly, and turned over with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the MEP quality program for large-scale data center projects, ensuring all work meets contract documents, industry standards, and owner expectations.
  • Review and validate MEP submittals, shop drawings, and equipment selections, with a focus on mission-critical reliability.
  • Conduct routine field inspections to verify installation quality for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage systems.
  • Identify, document, and track non-conformance items, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Partner with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to address technical issues and maintain alignment across the team.
  • Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test results, commissioning records, and turnover packages.
  • Support and coordinate commissioning activities, including integrated systems testing and equipment start-up.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures, reinforcing a culture where safety and quality go hand in hand.
  • Participate in pre-installation meetings, quality reviews, and owner discussions to maintain clear communication and expectations.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in MEP QA/QC, MEP coordination, or MEP field supervision, preferably on mission-critical or data center projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS systems, generators, cooling systems, fire protection, and low-voltage infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes, integrated systems testing, and data center performance requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or BIM tools.
  • Relevant certifications (CQM, QC Manager, ASHRAE, NICET, etc.) are a plus
