What You'll Do

As a Yardman, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive the materials they need safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers and assisting with loading materials 
  • Accurately pulling, staging, and preparing materials for pickup or delivery 
  • Operating equipment such as forklifts safely and effectively 
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe yard environment 
  • Following all company safety policies and procedures 
  • Supporting general yard and warehouse operations as needed

Required qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or team-based environment 
  • Forklift experience required 
  • Familiarity  with building materials preferred

  • Valid driver's license required 
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening 

Work Environment

This position is based in an active warehouse and outdoor yard setting. The role involves frequent physical activity including lifting (including overhead), walking, bending, standing, and carrying materials. Employees should be comfortable working in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
