Job description

Yamaha is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Marketing Specialist to join our Digital Transformation team. This role is ideal for individuals early in their Salesforce career who are eager to build foundational skills while contributing meaningfully to projects. This individual will support platform configuration, data management, testing, and documentation across Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Personalization.

(Note: Visa Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and deploy email marketing and personalization campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Personalization based on provided creative assets and content.
  • Build and manage audience segmentation using data from Salesforce Data 360.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, analytics and data teams to prioritize and measure email marketing and personalization initiatives and define success metrics.
  • Implement and configure Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP / Interaction Studio) to deliver real-time, personalized experiences across web and digital channels.
  • Integrate MCP withSalesforce Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud)and digital analytics to activate unified, event-driven customer profiles for personalization initiatives.
  • Ensure personalization efforts are measurable, scalable, and aligned to privacy and consent standards.
  • Capture and organize business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into actionable platform configurations and campaign specifications.
  • Contribute to the long-term marketing technology roadmap and personalization maturity model.

Competencies/ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Relevant certifications, such as Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Cloud Administrator, or Salesforce Cloud Consultant Certification(s).
  • Software development or management
  • Exposure to / experience with website development and Marketing Automation.

Decision-Making Responsibility:

  • Independently scopes personalization strategies, segmentation logic, and campaign architecture within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Balances platform capabilities and implementation best practices against marketing objectives and customer experience goals
  • Escalates when initiatives involve significant scope changes, cross-platform dependencies, or broader organizational alignment.

What You Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Science, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in digital marketing, data & segmentation implementation or marketing technology
  • Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn about the Salesforce platform.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
  • A proactive and eager attitude towards learning new technologies and processes
  • Proficiency in HTML, Javascript, SQL/SOQL, Excel.
