Exercise Specialist – Eastside Medical Group (Shaker Square, Cleveland, OH)

Eastside Medical Group, located in the heart of Shaker Square in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking an experienced part-time or full-time Exercise Specialist to work in all aspects of an outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation program.

We are a fast-paced office specializing in treating injured workers and patients recovering from automobile accidents. The ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping patients recover and return to their daily activities. This individual should thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Our physical medicine office includes a Nurse Practitioner, a Doctor of Chiropractic, and a supportive, experienced staff.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday (day shift)
  • Friday hours: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • No weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing rehabilitation programs under the supervision of licensed providers
  • Support and guide patients during therapy sessions
  • Monitor and document patient progress; report changes or concerns
  • Educate patients on proper body mechanics and prescribed exercises
  • Collaborate with the clinical team on individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean, safe environment

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sports coaching, personal training, or related field preferred
  • New graduates in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology are encouraged to apply
  • Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) candidates will also be considered
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and educate patients
  • Experience with group fitness or program design is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
