About the Role:

The Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within our business services facilities. This position ensures that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and maintained to meet health and safety standards, contributing to a positive and professional atmosphere for employees and visitors. The Custodian is responsible for performing routine janitorial duties, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas, as well as handling waste disposal and minor maintenance tasks. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Ultimately, the Custodian supports the overall operational efficiency and appearance of the facility, enhancing the workplace experience for all stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret basic documents and instructions related to cleaning and safety procedures.
  • Physical capability to perform repetitive motions, balance, and reach with hands and arms as required by janitorial tasks.
  • Demonstrated understanding and adherence to safety rules and protocols in a workplace setting.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or custodial duties preferred but not mandatory.

  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as assembling minor builds such as chairs and stools, pressure washing surfaces for detail cleaning and reporting repair needs.
  • Adhere to oral and written instructions from supervisors to meet quality and timing expectations.
  • Engage in repetitive motions and physical activities such as reaching, bending, and balancing to perform cleaning duties efficiently.
