Job Summary:

This position requires a passion for solving business problems by turning data into information, participates in utilizing that information to improve business & data processes and then measures the outcomes. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to design and plan deliverables, execute on the approved plans, and then participate in quality assurance, and outcome measurement.
  • Assists the TPLiQ product with writing and running SQL queries, creating and modifying SSIS packages, and creating and modifying python scripts to assist in responding to customer requests, day-to-day business processes, research and analytics.
  • Responsible for collaborating with manager and other members of the team to obtain and understand requirements, learn the ins and outs of the business, and become more familiar with SQL, SSIS and python.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of data analytics, business intelligence and/or software development & reporting experience.
  • Capable at working with data stored in a relational database.
  • Capable at working with data stored in flat files.
  • Capable at writing SQL scripts.
  • Capable at writing Python scripts.
  • Enjoys creating analysis and design specification documents to enable developers to implement product improvements.
  • Enjoys communicating ideas and solutions in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable operating within a Windows/SQL Server and/or Linux/Postgres environment.
