Job description

Job Description SummaryThe Chief Marketing Officer will lead global marketing for the CT and X-ray businesses.
This is both a business leadership role and a creative leadership role. The CMO will work closely with the business, product and regional commercial leaders to determine where growth will come from, how the portfolio should compete and how CT and X-ray should show up in the market.
The role requires someone who can understand the business, make choices and then turn those choices into a clear story and strong commercial execution.Job Description

What You Will Be Responsible For

Growth and Portfolio Strategy

Help define and implement the growth strategy for CT and X-ray.

You will bring together customer insight, market dynamics, competitive intelligence and business performance to help answer practical questions: Where can we grow? Which customers and markets matter most? Where are we differentiated? Where do we need to improve? What should we prioritize?

You will help shape the portfolio, positioning, segmentation and pricing strategy, and ensure marketing priorities are tied to the financial goals of the business.

Portfolio Story and Creative Direction

Create a clear, differentiated story for the CT and X-ray portfolio.

These are complex technologies, but the customer story cannot be complex. The CMO will translate product roadmaps, clinical evidence and technical innovation into ideas that are simple, relevant and memorable.

This includes setting the narrative for the business, developing strong creative platforms for major launches and ensuring individual product stories add up to a coherent CT and X-ray story. The expectation is not simply more content. It is better thinking, stronger ideas and work that makes customers care.

Commercialization and Growth

Turn marketing strategy into business results.

The CMO will lead the marketing approach for new product launches, pricing, installed-base programs and broader growth initiatives. You will work closely with product, regional marketing and commercial teams to build customer awareness, strengthen preference and accelerate adoption.

You will also ensure regions are involved early, sales teams are well equipped and marketing investment is focused on the programs most likely to create impact.

Team and Execution

Lead the global marketing and product management team for CT and X-ray.

You will set clear priorities, build strong talent and create accountability for delivery. The role also requires close partnership across product, sales, regions, communications, digital and other marketing teams.

This is a matrixed organization, so success will depend on the ability to influence, simplify decisions and keep teams focused on the work that matters most.

What Success Looks Like

Success will be measured through:

  • Market share, orders and revenue growth
  • Price accretion and stronger value capture
  • Successful commercialization of new products
  • Growth from the installed base
  • Clearer and more differentiated portfolio positioning
  • Stronger customer awareness, preference and adoption
  • Distinctive creative work that strengthens the business
  • A high-performing global marketing organization

The Leader We Are Looking For

We are looking for a senior marketing leader who brings strong business judgment, commercial experience and creative instinct.

The right person will be able to move comfortably between strategy and execution. They will understand how to use customer and market insight to make business choices, but they will also know how to turn those choices into stories, campaigns and commercial programs that move the market.

They should be comfortable challenging the business, influencing senior leaders and making trade-offs. Just as importantly, they should be able to bring clarity to complex issues, build trust across teams and develop people.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Bioengineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ten or more years of marketing experience, including product marketing
  • Experience leading global teams
  • Experience in product launches, commercialization, pricing or portfolio strategy
  • Healthcare or medical technology experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree
  • Experience in Imaging, Radiology, CT or adjacent healthcare technology markets
  • Product management, sales or regional marketing experience
  • Experience developing portfolio, launch or brand campaigns
  • Experience leading creative teams, agencies or integrated marketing programs
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, positioning, pricing and lifecycle management
  • Proven ability to lead change and work effectively across a matrixed organization
