Opportunity Presented by Global Placement Firm Global Placement Firm is thrilled to partner with a top healthcare organization in Ocala, FL, seeking a dedicated and motivated Radiologic Technologist XRay to join their collaborative radiology team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional, whether you are a new graduate or an experienced technologist, who is committed to providing high-quality patient care and accurate imaging.

Position Overview The Radiologic Technologist performs X-rays and supports patient care while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Working closely with physicians, radiologists, and the healthcare team, the technologist ensures timely, accurate imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

This role requires precision, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills with patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform X-rays as ordered by the provider, following ALARA radiation safety practices.
  • Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for review.
  • Room patients, including taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
  • Assist patients and providers with walking, transfers, specimen collection, exam preparation, and other needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adequate supplies in rooms.
  • Transport patients as needed.

Qualifications

  • No experience required new graduates are welcome.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Accredited by ARRT.
  • Licensed by the state of Florida.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Shifts Available

  • Days (Rotating Weekends)
  • Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Incentives

  • Salary Range:
    • $24.93$33.59/hr (10 years of experience)
    • $36.15/hr (15+ years of experience)
  • Shift Differentials:
    • Nights: +$3.25/hr
    • Evenings: +$2.00/hr
    • Weekends: +$2.00/hr
    • Holidays: Time & 1/2
  • Sign-On Bonus: $7,500
  • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case
