A wrapper may wrap different things like meat, gifts, pallets, baked goods, and more. Although the techniques for wrapping these different things may vary, the general thrust of the job remains the same. For example, a bakery may hire a wrapper to wrap up cupcakes, pastries, and cookies, all of which require different wrapping techniques from one another, and all of which differ from the way a butcher would wrap a pound of raw meat. As a wrapper, you may hold additional responsibilities based on your field, but overall your skills as a wrapper are the crux of the position. There are no formally required qualifications to be a wrapper, and most employers provide some level of on-the-job training.
