OVERVIEW:
Aperio Global is seeking a PROGRAM MANAGER leading a program that provides cybersecurity operations, risk management, and compliance support for a large federal maritime organization responsible for operating and sustaining global Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems (C4S) infrastructure. The effort focuses on protecting critical information systems and networks by identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks, supporting vulnerability management activities, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DON), and federal cybersecurity requirements. The program includes support for cybersecurity inspections, Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities, mission-based cyber risk assessments, operational technology security, and shipboard cybersecurity operations. Through effective program management, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement, the program enhances the security, resilience, and operational readiness of mission-essential systems worldwide.

The Program Manager (PM) serves as the primary point of contact for the Government and provides leadership, oversight, and direction for all contract activities supporting cybersecurity operations, risk management, and compliance functions. The PM is responsible for managing program execution, personnel, resources, schedules, quality assurance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery of all contractual requirements. This position requires a seasoned leader with experience managing large-scale DoD cybersecurity and C4S programs, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and briefing senior government and military leadership. The PM ensures that all technical, operational, financial, and performance objectives are achieved while maintaining compliance with applicable cybersecurity policies, regulations, and contractual requirements.

REQUIRED:
Demonstrated experience managing projects and programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
Experience serving as the primary point of contact between Government and contractor personnel.
Experience briefing senior leadership, executive management, and/or upper echelons of military chains of command.
Demonstrated experience managing and fielding large projects supporting complex operational environments.
Experience managing contracts involving deployment and support of shipboard C4S infrastructure.
Understanding of C4S requirements and their relationship to mission execution.
Experience supporting all phases of C4S system implementation.
Experience with program management, design and production, logistics, installation, and test and evaluation procedures.
Experience coordinating and directing quality assurance efforts in support of C4S systems. Experience managing large staffs in a program office environment and coordinating personnel across diverse functional areas.
Familiarity with C4S environments, policies, systems, and related Navy organizations.
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
Active Secret security clearance.
Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M requirements for Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level III, or equivalent.

NICE TO HAVE:
Experience supporting maritime or naval cybersecurity and C4S programs.
Familiarity with shipboard C4S systems and operational environments.
Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance, A&A, and RMF processes.
Experience managing large, geographically dispersed technical teams.
Background in quality assurance, performance management, and process improvement.
Experience supporting worldwide technology deployment and sustainment efforts.
Strong understanding of DoD and Navy cybersecurity policies and mission environments.

CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required
