Job description

Work with customer business units, ERP functional analysts, the ERP Systems Architect, and the Project Management Office to understand users' requirements. Work with customer business units, ERP functional analysts, Cloud vendors, and the ERP Systems Architect on the development of functional and technical requirements. Hands on configuration for new and existing SAP modules and Cloud solutions.

Work with Cloud vendors and internal Bentley NetWeaver and Web developers where appropriate in the realization of new and support of existing SAP modules and Cloud solutions. Ensure there is robust integration and between Cloud solutions, SAP CRM and SAP ERP applications and coordination amongst colleagues who use ERP, CRM, other enterprise systems, and Cloud solutions Maintain, diagnose, and modify existing SAP applications and Cloud solutions. Provide alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality.

Determine the best and most cost effective approaches for Bentley Systems that meet long term strategic computing goals. These could span from on-premises solutions such as SAP ERP all the way to externally hosted SaaS solutions and various hybrid combinations in between. Cross-train existing ERP functional analysts in new SAP, third party, and SaaS technologies.

Work with the ERP the team and business users in developing and maintaining automated testing tools such as SAP Solution Manager or Worksoft to allow testing of system changes in a faster, more automated, and more complete coverage of key business scenarios. This includes unit testing, regression testing, and negative testing. Work with the ERP team and business users in developing, maintaining and following an ITIL framework for the delivery of quality IT services.

Job Requirements Required Experience with one or more SAP modules such as HCM, Project Systems, FI, SD Experience with one or more cloud solutions such as SuccessFactors, Concur, Projector, or Taleo. Experience in designing the requirements and developing automated integration between an SAP functional module and a third party on premises or Cloud solution. Desire to learn new technologies and to implement and support these into a stable enterprise computing environment.

Willingness to work with multiple departments around the globe to understand their business process and pain points and translate those into well-conceived IT solutions that help improve the overall effectiveness of the company. Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment that can be chaotic. Desired Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.

Familiarity with ABAP Report Programs and Web development tools. Familiarity with data and integration tools such as LSMW, ECATT, HANA Cloud integration and SAP PI. Familiarity with diagnostics tools such as SQL trace and the ABAP debugger Familiarity with Enhancement Framework, user exits, and BADI's Familiarity with RFC's and BAPI's.
