Automation Tester

Future Duties and Responsibilities:

Regression Tester duties:

  • Responsible for analysis of the requirements, creating scenarios, designing test cases, test execution and reporting results
  • Prioritizing and execution of automated regression test cases in an agile environment
  • Involved in identifying end to end scenarios for automation and designing test cases and tracing them to pertinent business requirements
  • Responsible for debugging and execution of automated tests and peer review of test cases
  • Responsible for analyzing existing scripts and identify feasibility for automation
  • Work and communicate with product owners, test leads and developers in order to set and meet quality standards
  • Track task management on Microsoft Planner overseeing assignments to development and functional resources within project team, other agency departments and at 3rd party vendor
  • Coordinate, plan, and host working group sessions

Required Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Proficient in Worksoft Certify version 12 or newer
  • 5 years of Quality assurance experience in creating, executing automation scripts using Worksoft Certify including utilities like execution manager
  • 2+ years of experience in test management tools - Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Experience in analyzing requirements, test estimation, requirements traceability and test planning
  • 3 years of experience in performing different types of testing including web testing, API testing, integration testing, end to end testing, regression and smoke testing
  • Proficient in testing web services and API as part of system integration testing

Desired Qualifications:

  • Department of Transportation experience in CA, FL, NY, TX and/or UT preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills
