We're hiring a Workplace Experience Specialist to join our People & Culture team at EMARKETER.The Role and Team:

The Workplace Experience Specialist plays a key role in creating a positive, connected, and well-supported employee experience across EMARKETER. Sitting within the People Ops arm of our People & Culture team, this role blends workplace operations, employee engagement, internal communications, and culture programming to help foster an environment where employees can do their best work.

Partnering closely with the HR Generalist, Talent & Experience under People Ops, this position executes day-to-day office operations, drives employee engagement initiatives, and delivers internal programming that strengthens connection, collaboration, and company culture. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys balancing operational excellence with people-focused programming and thrives in a highly collaborative environment.

This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City office, with regular in-office expectations.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future and be within commuting distance of our New York City office. Relocation assistance is not available.

Key Responsibilities:
Workplace Experience & Office Operations
  • Co-manage day-to-day office operations and workplace environmental standards alongside the HR Generalist to maintain an organized, functional, and employee-friendly office environment.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for vendor performance, evaluating service quality and formulating recommendations on vendor selections or contract modifications for People Ops leadership.
  • Coordinate facilities requests and workplace logistics, creating thoughtful workplace programming and employee touchpoints.
  • Provide backup support for broader workplace operations when team members are out of office.
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Lead the operational planning, design, and execution of company-wide internal events, culture campaigns, and employee engagement programs that strengthen connection and morale.
  • Formulate project proposals, outline logistical frameworks, and build budget allocations for review, maintaining day-to-day oversight over event expenses.
  • Partner with People Ops leadership to develop programming that reinforces company values and strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate employee recognition and appreciation programs that celebrate contributions and reinforce organizational culture.
Internal Communications
  • Own the content strategy, planning, and distribution of the weekly People & Culture newsletter.
  • Exercise judgment in crafting the tone and messaging for employee communications related to workplace experience and culture across Slack, email, and other internal channels.
  • Contribute content and updates to broader People & Culture communications, including the monthly company wide newsletter.
Employee Experience Insights
  • Evaluate participation metrics and trends from workplace engagement initiatives, events, and listening surveys.
  • Develop formal recommendations and data-driven insights to help People Ops leadership shape future workplace strategies.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in workplace experience, office operations, employee engagement, internal communications, people operations, or a related field
  • Experience planning and executing internal events, workplace programs, or employee engagement initiatives
  • Experience supporting office operations, workplace logistics, or vendor coordination
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and comfort learning HR, survey, or workplace management tools
Salary & Benefits:
  • $64,000 to $70,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
