Position Summary
The Workplace Experience Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional workplace experience that enables employees to do their best work and strengthens connection to our culture and values.
As a member of the Global Workplace team, this role serves as the primary workplace representative on-site, leading day-to-day office operations and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and highly functional workplace environment. The Workplace Experience Manager is responsible for coordinating workplace services, fostering employee engagement, supporting workplace programs, leadership to support teams, and delivering a consistent employee and visitor experience.
Working closely with the Site Leader, Site Committee, and cross-functional partners, this role helps cultivate a vibrant workplace culture that encourages collaboration, connection, and community. The Workplace Experience Manager partners with colleagues across Workplace, Security, Real Estate, Projects, and Space Planning to support the successful delivery of workplace initiatives at the local site.
This role combines hospitality, operational excellence, and workplace experience leadership to create an environment where employees feel supported, connected, and inspired to do their best work.
Essential Responsibilities
Workplace Operations & Service Delivery
Lead day-to-day workplace operations, ensuring a safe, compliant, well-maintained, and highly functional office environment.
Oversee delivery of workplace services including facilities coordination, reception and visitor services, food and beverage programs, janitorial services, maintenance, mail and deliveries, office supplies, and general office operations.
Monitor workplace conditions, identify operational issues and service gaps, and proactively resolve or escalate matters as appropriate.
Ensure meeting spaces, common areas, and employee amenities consistently meet workplace standards and support a positive employee experience.
Maintain workplace readiness, inventory, and operational support services to ensure smooth daily operations.
Monitor site conditions and operational risks, identify issues proactively, and resolve or escalate matters as appropriately
Ensure compliance with workplace policies, health and safety requirements, security protocols, and operational standards.
Vendor & Facilities Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for building management, workplace vendors, and service providers.
Manage local vendor relationships and service delivery, or partner closely with the company's outsourced facilities management provider, depending on site requirements.
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, workplace improvements, and operational projects to ensure service excellence and workplace reliability.
Monitor vendor performance and workplace standards, driving continuous improvement and issue resolution.
Workplace Experience, Culture & Community
Support the development and execution of local engagement initiatives that build community and strengthen connections
Serve as a visible and approachable workplace ambassador, fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging office environment.
Partner with the Site Leader and Site Committee to support initiatives that strengthen workplace culture, employee engagement, and community.
Develop and execute local workplace programs and experiences that encourage collaboration, connection, and a sense of belonging.
Gather employee feedback and workplace insights to continuously improve services and the overall workplace experience.
Events & Visitor Experience
Lead planning and execution of workplace events, leadership visits, town halls, celebrations, meetings, and employee programs.
Manage event logistics including catering, vendor coordination, communications, space planning, and onsite execution.
Ensure employees, visitors, candidates, and company leaders receive a professional, seamless, and welcoming experience.
Collaboration & Workplace Leadership
Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and prioritization for office support staff.
Act as the local representative of the Global Workplace team, ensuring workplace programs, standards, and initiatives are successfully delivered at the site level.
Partner closely with colleagues across Workplace, Security, Real Estate, Projects, Space Planning, Technology, and other corporate functions to support local workplace needs.
Support workplace projects, office improvements, relocations, and space planning initiatives through local coordination and execution.
Serve as a trusted partner to site leadership, providing workplace insights and recommendations that enhance the employee experience.
Financial & Administrative Management
Support site-level workplace budget planning and forecasting in partnership with Workplace leadership.
Manage workplace-related purchasing, expense tracking, vendor invoicing, and budget administration in accordance with company policies.
Monitor spending and identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining a high-quality workplace experience.
Ensure appropriate inventory levels and operational reporting to support effective workplace management.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide hands-on support during high-volume periods, workplace incidents, major events, or staffing gaps.
Perform other duties as assigned.

5+ years of experience in workplace experience, office management, hospitality, facilities management, operations, or a related field.
Experience managing workplace vendors, service providers, and operational budgets.
Experience partnering with business leaders and employee committees to drive engagement and culture initiatives.
Experience working within a corporate workplace, facilities, hospitality, or employee experience environment preferred.
Other Requirements
Full-time, onsite role NYC office (5 days per week).
Flexibility to support occasional early morning, evening, or after-hours events (approximately 5-10% of time).
Ability to move throughout the workplace and support event setup, inspections, and operational activities as needed.
