Job Description Summary

Overview


As a Foreman, you'll lead a field crew in installing, removing, and servicing temporary fencing projects. You'll coach and support your team while ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and to company standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work outdoors and represent the company directly at customer sites.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and assign daily tasks to crew members
  • Train, coach, and provide ongoing feedback
  • Work alongside the team on installs, removals, and site prep
  • Ensure projects meet safety standards, specs, and deadlines
  • Meet clients onsite to review job details and expectations
  • Complete job reports, inventory logs, and site checklists
  • Inspect equipment and maintain truck readiness
  • Monitor attendance and support team performance
  • Participate in safety meetings and report incidents
  • Maintain clean, safe job sites and vehicles
  • Step in and call out unsafe conditions when needed
What You Bring
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract
  • 1+ year leadership experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years in fencing, construction, or similar industry (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using tools and equipment (power tools, post drivers, etc.)
  • Ability to lift 50-80 lbs regularly
  • Forklift and 1-ton truck experience (asset)
  • Strong accountability and time management
Work Environment
  • Outdoor, physically demanding role
  • Work in various weather conditions
  • Travel to job sites required

Base Pay Range

31.80 - 43.73
