While both roles require licensing, Working Exp Realty provides the platform and tools, whereas Real Estate Agents focus on client transactions.

What is a Working Exp Realty agent?

A Working Exp Realty agent is a licensed real estate professional who is affiliated with eXp Realty, a global real estate brokerage. These agents help clients buy, sell, and rent properties while leveraging eXp Realty’s cloud-based platform, which provides advanced tools, training, and support. eXp Realty agents benefit from a collaborative virtual environment, revenue-sharing opportunities, and access to a large network of professionals. Their role involves guiding clients through real estate transactions, marketing properties, and negotiating deals.

This structure fosters a sense of community and helps agents, especially those new to the field, quickly find guidance and resources to grow their business.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Real Estate Agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Real Estate Agent, you need a strong understanding of property markets, sales techniques, and a valid real estate license. Familiarity with Multiple Listing Services (MLS), customer relationship management (CRM) software, and digital marketing platforms is typically required. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and networking skills set top agents apart in building client trust and closing deals. These skills and tools are crucial for effectively matching clients with properties, navigating transactions, and succeeding in a competitive market.

Who is eXp?
Doing the audacious is part of eXp Realty's DNA. We are a company that rewards creative minds who can offer bold solutions, where opinions matter, anything is possible and the outcome can be revolutionary. As a global full-service real estate brokerage utilizing a 3-D, fully immersive, cloud office environment, offering 24/7 access to collaborative tools & training, eXp has broken the traditional mold of real estate. We are doing big things. Come join us!
What you will do:
The Communications Manager is a skilled communicator and organized executor who helps bring eXp's communications strategy to life. This role owns a wide range of initiatives from email campaigns and lifecycle communications to marquee event messaging and works closely with teams across Marketing, Creative, and Events to ensure every audience receives clear, compelling, on-brand communication. If you're someone who takes a brief and runs with it, this role was built for you.
How you will make an impact:
  • Content & Channel Execution
  • Develop, edit, and execute communications across email, internal platforms, web, event campaigns, and additional digital channels
  • Maintain brand alignment and messaging consistency across all outputs and audience segments
  • Independently manage communications projects from brief through execution, including planning, content development, stakeholder coordination, approvals, scheduling, and reporting
  • Lifecycle Communications
  • Execute and optimize segmented email campaigns, nurture journeys, audience targeting, and communication cadences in HubSpot
  • Build and manage workflow automation to support engagement across multiple audience segments
  • Track performance metrics and engagement analytics to support campaign optimization
  • Event Communications
  • Own end-to-end communications execution for major company initiatives and marquee events, including eXpcon
  • Manage the full attendee communications journey from promotion and registration through event engagement and post-event follow-up
  • Coordinate timelines, audience segmentation, speaker and leadership messaging, and cross-channel campaign execution to support attendance and overall event experience
  • Audience Engagement
  • Deliver clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate messaging across prospective agents, current agents, internal staff, brokerage leaders, and event attendees
  • Develop a strong working understanding of entrepreneurial and agent-centric audiences to ensure communications resonate at every stage
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Creative, Digital, Events, and business-line stakeholders to ensure messaging consistency and seamless execution
  • Serve as a reliable, organized project partner who keeps initiatives on track and stakeholders aligned

How you will grab our attention:
  • Self-Directed Execution: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can independently manage multiple projects while balancing speed, accuracy, and quality
  • Exceptional Writing: You are a strong writer and editor with the ability to adapt messaging across audiences, channels, and communication formats
  • Agility: You can pivot from one initiative to the next without losing momentum, quality, or attention to detail
  • Collaborative Mindset: You are an effective cross-functional partner who works well with stakeholders across marketing, operations, creative, events, and leadership
  • Data & Platform Literacy: You can leverage analytics, audience insights, and engagement reporting to optimize performance
  • Operational Excellence: You possess strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex workflows and deadlines
  • Audience Awareness: You understand how to craft communications that resonate with entrepreneurial, agent-centric, and service-oriented audiences

Technical Proficiencies:
    • HubSpot: Working knowledge of email marketing, segmentation, workflow automation, and reporting
    • Content & Copywriting: Proven ability to write and edit across formats, audiences, and channels
    • Email & Digital Channels: Experience executing high-volume campaigns across email, web, and event communications platforms
    • Analytics & Reporting: Comfortable working with campaign performance data to inform optimization
    • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project tracking and cross-functional coordination tools is a plus

Required Experience:
  • 4-7 years in communications, content marketing, corporate communications, lifecycle marketing, public relations, or event communications.
  • Proven track record of independently managing communications projects with minimal oversight.
  • Experience supporting large-scale conferences, corporate events, or franchise audience campaigns strongly preferred.
  • Interest in and understanding of entrepreneurial and agent-focused audiences strongly preferred. Background in real estate, franchising, professional services, or agency environments is a plus

Success Measures:

  • Successful attendee communication experiences that support registration, engagement, and event participation
  • Strong cross-functional partnerships and consistent stakeholder satisfaction
  • High-quality content delivered with minimal revision cycles and clear alignment to business objectives

If you think you'd make a great match for this position but don't meet all the requirements, we would still encourage you to apply!
