Job description

STS Technical Services is hiring a Bilingual Welding Training Coordinator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role supports a growing manufacturing operation and plays a key part in employee training, safety awareness, and welding skill development. If you are fluent in English and Spanish and bring hands-on welding or technical training experience, this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact.
Position Overview
The Bilingual Welding Training Coordinator works closely with Human Resources and Safety teams to support employee development, improve training effectiveness, and reinforce workplace safety. Training is delivered through a blended learning environment that combines classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and advanced training technologies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR and Safety teams to identify training gaps, safety concerns, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Deliver classroom instruction covering basic math, tape measure reading, blueprint interpretation, welding fundamentals, and MIG welding processes
  • Conduct training using books, videos, online manuals, virtual reality tools, and testing platforms
  • Support on-the-job training by organizing procedures, coordinating trainer and trainee interaction, and tracking progress
  • Monitor shop-floor work practices for training and safety-related issues and recommend improvements
  • Assist with new hire safety orientation and onboarding training
  • Promote consistent training standards and safe work practices across production teams

Required Qualifications
  • Knowledge of safety and HR training practices
  • Experience in training, teaching, or facilitating technical instruction
  • Working knowledge of welding technology and blueprint reading
  • Ability to work independently and manage training initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to commute to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous hands-on experience in welding, electrical work, or assembly environments
  • Background supporting manufacturing or industrial workforce training
