We commit to delivering Extreme Customer service in order to provide outstanding outcomes for the people and businesses we serve.  A WIOA Work Experience (WEX) Coordinator facilitates, manages, and monitors subsidized work opportunities for eligible youth and adults, connecting job seekers with local employers to gain skills and employment. Key responsibilities include cultivating employer partnerships, developing training plans, ensuring compliance with WIOA regulations, and providing case management to support participant success. Key ResponsibilitiesEmployer Partnership Development: Conducts outreach to identify and secure businesses to provide structured internships, on-the-job training (OJT), and work experiences.Participant Placement: Matches program participants with appropriate employers based on skills, career goals, and interests.Compliance & Documentation: Ensures all placements adhere to WIOA regulations, maintains detailed participant files, manages Work Experience Agreements, and ensures documentation for payroll.Monitoring & Evaluation: Conducts monthly monitoring of work sites to review participant performance, attendance, and safety, conducting evaluations on skill attainment.Case Management & Coaching: Provides mentorship, counseling, and conflict resolution to participants to address workplace issues, attendance problems, or barriers to employment.Required Qualifications & Skills Education/Experience: An associate's degree or experience in workforce development, human services, or a related field.Communication & Relationships: Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with both private/public employers and diverse participants.Knowledge: Knowledge of local labor market trends and workforce development programs.Technology Proficiency: Experience with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and case management systems. Mobility: Requires a valid driver's license for travel to worksites within the region.
