Who We Are
This Systems Engineer Associate Manager role is responsible for leading a Ground Systems (GS) Systems Systems Engineering team that focuses on F35 Mission Planning Environment (MPE) products, based in Fort Worth, TX. The selected candidate is expected to understand Systems Engineering concepts, Model Based Systems Engineering, and have the ability to provide technical direction to Systems Engineers in support of program execution priorities.
What You Will Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Workforce planning, development, and retention
- Personnel performance, compensation and promotion planning
- Oversight of cost, technical, schedule across contracts
- Input and oversight for new business capture contract proposals
- Understanding team performance and motivating quality improvement across contracted efforts
- Interfacing with external Lockheed teams to meet commitments
The focus of this role will include technical/program execution (cost, schedule and technical performance) as well as functional L-code responsibilities (employee recruitment, labor planning, performance assessments). This role will support 25% Program Overhead tasks and 75% direct on program tasks, and will report to the current F35 Mission Planning Systems Engineer Manager (L5).
