The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Applications Team: 

We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to serve as the Associate Director, Product Manager โ€“ Workforce Adaptive Planning, responsible for owning the technical roadmap for Workdayโ€™s Adaptive Planning and ensuring its alignment with the broader workforce planning and workforce intelligence objectives. This role includes oversight of individual business unit (BU) product owners and the leadership of cross-functional efforts to deliver scalable workforce planning solutions, supporting the successful deployment and sustainment of the platform across multiple BUs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise system deployments, workforce planning, and collaborative strategy development.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and manage the technical roadmap for Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and scalability across all business units, while partnering closely with the Workforce Intelligence program lead to understand and integrate their strategic roadmap and objectives into the overall planning strategy.

  • Provide oversight and strategic direction to individual BU product owners, fostering collaboration and ensuring consistency across BUs during implementation and sustainment efforts.

  • Lead the successful implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning for two additional BUs, while overseeing the sustainment of an ongoing deployment.

  • Develop and implement governance frameworks, including Jira deployment models, structured testing frameworks, and ticket workflows, to improve delivery efficiency and system consistency.

  • Collaborate with Workforce Intelligence, Digital Technology, and other cross-functional teams to address escalations, align planning outputs, and ensure seamless system integration and operations.

  • Monitor and ensure data quality, security protocols, and compliance across all implementations, while developing robust intake and support models for smooth transitions to production and long-term system stability.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for BU leaders and product owners, providing guidance on best practices for leveraging Workday Adaptive Planning to support workforce planning objectives.

  • Continuously identify and implement opportunities for innovation, optimization, and efficiency in workforce planning systems and processes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field with 12 years of relative work experience or a MS degree with 10 years of experience.

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in product management, workforce planning, or enterprise system implementation, with at least 8 years in a leadership role overseeing cross-functional teams and projects.

  • Proven experience as a product manager or director, with a focus on enterprise system implementations or workforce planning solutions.

  • Strong expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning or similar enterprise planning platforms, with hands-on experience in managing multi-phased deployments across multiple business units.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including direct oversight of product owners or managers with proven experience in managing technical roadmaps and aligning them with program-level strategies and goals.

  • Proficiency in developing and managing governance and deployment frameworks using tools such as Jira for project management and workflow optimization with project management skills, with experience in managing partnered deployments and ensuring on-time delivery of complex projects.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with program leadership, cross-functional teams, and organizational leaders.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in enterprise workforce planning within the aerospace, defense, or related industries.

  • Familiarity with workforce analytics, digital technology systems, and enterprise system integrations.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidateโ€™s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companyโ€™s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
