Workforce Operations Manager

Position Overview
We are looking for a Workforce Operations Manager in Monroe, NC to lead the recruitment of top talent and manage staffing operations within our enhanced MSP platform. Reporting to the IWS Director, you will be responsible for employee engagement, recruiting talent for manufacturing and logistics positions, ensuring that labor management goals, and forecasted headcount targets are exceeded.
Hours: 1st shift - Monday - Friday (must be flexible to assist other shifts as needed)
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage requisitions, order fulfillment and onboarding employees.
  • Qualify and place candidates for open positions.
  • Coordinate orientation and onboarding for new hires.
  • Conduct background checks, drug screenings, and timely onboarding.
  • Assist with payroll and billing as needed.
  • Assist in employee terminations while mitigating risks.
  • Serve as a contact for hiring managers, client HR, and employees.
  • Collaborate with client managers to address recruiting and retention challenges.
  • Evaluate and refine recruiting strategies and plans.
  • Assist with coaching, counseling, and mentoring to staff.
  • Support IWO Operations Manager with employee relations investigations, providing necessary support and documentation.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years' experience to include Staffing, Recruiting, and/or Client Relationship role
  • Working knowledge of HRIS/ATS systems preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
