Job description

Company Description Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians Economic Development Corporation (ATNI-EDC) supports community and economic development for 57 Member Tribes and their tribal members. The organization provides financial and technical assistance to help strengthen tribal economies, infrastructure, and self-sufficiency. Member Tribes are primarily located in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, with additional representation from Northern California, Nevada, Montana, and Alaska. ATNI-EDC works collaboratively with tribal governments and partners to design solutions tailored to each communityโ€™s needs and priorities.

Role Description This position is responsible for overseeing the organizationโ€™s administrative, financial, compliance, grant-support, and workforce operations to ensure effective internal systems, accurate records, regulatory compliance, and support for organizational programs and leadership by performing the following duties.

Qualifications

  • Strong operations management skills, including experience designing, implementing, and improving organizational processes.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret data, assess program performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Proven team management abilities, including staff supervision, coaching, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Budgeting experience in planning, monitoring, and reporting on program and organizational finances.
  • Customer service orientation, with a focus on responsive, respectful, and culturally informed engagement with Member Tribes and partners.
  • Experience working with Indigenous or tribal communities, or in mission-driven nonprofit or public-sector organizations, is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools and relevant software for data tracking, reporting, and collaboration.
