Job Summary
Under close supervision, assists in various day-to-day research-related activities across projects as assigned, working on a variety of topics related to health and health care. Specific research topics for this position include but are not limited to: mobile and digital health, health information technology, and chronic condition management. Assists in the recruitment, enrollment, and follow up of research participants, data collection and data entry, and other duties as assigned.
Must have successfully completed the MC2 program, as required by the funding source for this position.
Essential Functions:
  • Helps in recruitment and enrollment of participants into research studies. (20%)
  • Helps in engaging patients over the course of the project in intake and follow-up visits as needed. (10%)
  • Aids in collecting research data in accordance with study protocols, including both quantitative and qualitative data. (10%)
  • Assists in the adherence to research policies, procedures, good clinical practice, study protocols, and other specified project parameters. (10%)
  • Performs data entry into research databases and other information systems as appropriate. (10%)
  • Engages in quality assurance to ensure that data are accurate and well-organized. (10%)
  • Conducts literature reviews as needed and presents synthesized results. (10%)
  • Assists with preparation of project deliverables. (10%)
  • Participates in departmental, team, and project-related meetings. (10%)

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience:
Must have successfully completed the MC2 program, as required by the funding source for this position.
